Job Summary

Underwrite life insurance risk in accordance to the concurred authority; ensure meeting personal KPI and work as a team to meet department’s and company’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite and counter sign life insurance risks up to the concurred authority
Work with immediate superiors and other managers to ensure personal KPI and department’s KPI are ment, this includes:
Daily personal productivity is met
Work with other team members to ensure overall department turnaround time are met
To follow quality underwriting practice which includes prudent, competitive and consistent underwriting decision, follow the set guidelines (internal and reinsurer manuals); adhere to legal and compliance requirements, company and regional underwriting policy
Initiate and foster good working relationship with the Sales Team and agents
Support initiative and project that are initiated from Group to ensure that we are aligned with the Group and company direction
Any other duties as and when deemed necessary

Key Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
At least 4 years of working experience in underwriting or life insurance or related field
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
