Murex Market Risk Lead

We are searching for a Murex Risk Lead who has strong expertise in Market Risk and Credit Risk projects. As a Risk Lead, you will oversee the design and implementation of complex murex modules ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. You are also expected to manage and guide technical decisions and ensuring delivery excellence.
This specific role will be focused on below.
Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage Technical Teams: Oversee the technical teams working on Murex Market Risk and Credit Risk projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery of solutions.
Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement Murex solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. This includes sub-domains such as trade capture, pricing, risk management, P&L, limits management, settlement, payments, accounting, and reconciliation
Risk Management: Ensure the effective management of market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk functionalities within the Murex platform
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and reporting mandates
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure effective communication across different IT teams and business divisions
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Murex-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution of problems
Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, testing, and business units to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Develop and mentor junior team members, ensuring they gain the skills necessary for successful project delivery.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
Coordinate across various teams, including business analysts, developers, testers, and operations to guarantee seamless delivery of Murex functionalities.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints while maintaining high quality standards.
Address and resolve any technical and operational challenges that arise during the project.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Murex and financial technology to proactively address challenges.
Provide thought leadership and solutions to improve project efficiency, quality, and delivery speed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Programming & Systems Analysis or related course
Minimum 15+ years’ experience in Murex Market Risk
· Strong knowledge and functional experience on related murex risk modules. E.g. MRA, MRE, MLC
· Familiar with SQL & unix commands
· Functional overview of datamart setup
· Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle production issues and provide effective solutions.
· Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
· Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in Murex Data Mart development and support.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
