Onsite Counsellor (Malaysia)

We're seeking to partner with Clinical Psychologists and counsellors to be part of a community working collaboratively to bring greater mental health access to the public to provide mental health coaching
What You'll Do
- Provide onsite/in-person mental health counselling for the employees of Intellect's local clients in Malaysia
- Report to the client's office for 9 hours a day, 5 days a week
- Deliver New Hire Orientation sessions on – resilience, stress triggers and management and wellbeing resources available
- Conduct workshops for managers on empathy and identifying distress in employee
- Teach groups coping mechanisms related to stressful and traumatic information they encounter
- Ideate and Conduct team building / fun activities
- Moderate peer group support session
- Develop and deliver on-site group sessions and workshops to promote mental health education, resilience and awareness
- Deliver customized training programs as per the requirement of the employee group in consensus with the wellness coordinator
- Share monthly report on utilisation / participation
- Collaboratively work with Intellect's internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and the platform
- Has a Master / Postgraduate Diploma training in Counselling / Clinical Psychology
- Skilled in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or other evidence-based approaches (e.g. Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT, etc.)
- Candidate must have at least 300 clinical hours
- Candidate must be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Candidates with prior experience in EAP, counselling working adults or coaching managerial roles is a plus
