Summary

Detailed Description

• Analyze & understand Assembly drawing, Fab drawing, Gerber, Engineering BOM, Test plan/procedure , unique process requirement and test related document given by customer.
• Work closely with Manufacturing & Test engineer to establish the process & test requirement base on customer info.
• Work closely with Engineering, Sales/BPS & customer to understand technical issue/requirement and establish solution if site does not have the capability to meet customer requirement.
• Configure & input all the process & test info into cost model and work with GBS for preparation of P&L for approval.
• Establish packaging requirement & cost base on customer info or work with packaging supplier basing on site packaging guidance if unique product packaging require.
• Establish NRE requirement & cost base on customer info and site standard.
• Establish consumable requirement & cost base on customer info & site standard.
• For outsourcing requirement, work with supplier for outsourcing cost base on customer requirement.
• Establish manufacturing assumptions for each quote and provide to GBS for customer quote packaging preparation.
• Provide costing for product rework , engineering change and current program new product drop in .

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Able to read and understand engineering drawing, document & BOM.
• Able to establish process requirement and process flow base on the engineering drawing, document & BOM.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in PCBA / Box Build manufacturing environment.
• Analytical with some knowledge in costing would be an added advantage.

Physical Demands

• Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience

• Three to six years of relevant experience

Typical Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Educational requirements may vary by geography.
