Purchase Officer/ Clerk
- Inquire, evaluate, and source materials from multiple suppliers.
- Issue and maintain a record of Purchase Order.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers on quotations
- Continuously source for new suppliers and credit terms
- Inspect all incoming item specification details
- Follow up payment for supplier
- Provide weekly outstanding purchase report
- Verify and keep records on monthly stock in-out check and balance
- Ensure optimal stock levels
- Prepare new item stock codes and identification
- Control all the transaction in/out document from supplier/creditor
- Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problems.
- Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.
- Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors.
Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Level in any field.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia,
• Knowing Mandarin is an advantage
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Strong knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
• Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Words, Emails
• Knowledge of market research
• Solid organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: RM 1,500 or above per month
Schedule:
Monday to Friday ( 8.30 am- 5.30pm)
Saturday - half day ( 8.30am - 1.00pm)
