Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Director to join their team and have a direct impact on the bottom line of their business. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the sales team, including crafting sales plans and supervising sales managers to ensure plans are being executed correctly.
In this position you are required to working with marketing, sales support, and other key departments within the company. The successful candidate will be energetic, persuasive, well organized and able to demonstrate the ability to sell.
Job Description

• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
• Work closely with Management, marketing team and relevant parties to develop a marketing plan and tactical plan to achieve sales goals and targets.
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the Management team.
• Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams and fosters a culture of continuous process improvement.
• Ensure reports and other internal intelligence and insight is provided to the sales and marketing organization.
• Monitor the quality of marketing and sales information and define data improvement programs.
• Research and seek out potential major clients and forge beneficial relationships.
• Identify emerging markets that could be valuable to the business.
• Forecast future sales and avoid stagnation.
• Optimize manpower and performances to achieve sales target.
• Establish team sales goals and allocate key accounts to each member.
• Form sales strategies to maximize the company profit.
• Serve as a representative of the company at conferences, events, trade shows, and other industry functions.
• Perform other functions as assigned by the Top Management.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, business administration or a related field is required.
• Min 10 years sales department working experience in hospitality industry, preferred tourist attraction, theme park or hotel industry
• Could demonstrate commitment to outstanding customer service, excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to accuracy and details
• Excellent communications, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated initiative; implementing business plans and executing sales initiatives at a senior level
• Flexibility, teamwork, the ability to motivate staff, a positive attitude and integrity
• Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Proven ability to develop and initiate strategies for revenue and client count growth as well as expense control
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Follow a structured sales methodology as well as meet/exceed sales quotas

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
