Opportunity

We are growing our team in Kuala Lumpur and looking for hardworking individuals with client-facing experience to join us as Sales Specialist. You will be responsible for growing the LSEG Risk business through prospecting for new clients and developing new business opportunities within existing customer accounts. The Sales Specialist will effectively position solutions for client onboarding, KYC, financial crime and payments through a consultative sales process within the financial services industry in Malaysia.

Role Responsibilities

• Proactively identify prospects and new business opportunities.
• Structure, pitch, negotiate and close opportunities.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy for Customer Risk and Digital Identity within a territory.
• Provide insights and share thought leadership with senior stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent customer presentation and demonstrations.
• Become a subject matter authority with a pursuit and sales focus - experience in similar roles
• Work with Pre-Sales Specialists and Account Managers in the planning, prospecting, pitching and closing process

Required Skills & Experience

• Great interpersonal skills
• Able to build deep knowledge of a complex subject but keep it simple enough for a customer.
• Able to work on a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry themes and trends.
• Can anticipate customer needs, assess customer requirements, and see opportunities to work together.
• Able to analyse a situation and make quick fact-based decisions.
• Loves solving problems

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Risk and Compliance within regulated firms in Malaysia.
• A consistent track record in a quota bearing sales environment is preferred.
