Sports Direct Malaysia is currently looking for Senior Executive, Social Media to join our growing team.
Malaysia marks the first direct retail investment in Asia through a joint venture partnership with Malaysian owned MST Golf Group of companies, a well-established golf retailer and service provider in the region. Sports Direct Malaysia currently operates a total of 34 retail stores domestically and manages a proprietary Sports Direct.com e-commerce site for domestic and regional fulfillment. The company employs over 1000 staff with a view to expanding rapidly across Asia in the coming years.
We have developed a new generation of stores as part of our multi channel elevation strategy, to enhance the customer experience at every step of the journey. The stores are uniquely zoned by key sports categories which include; SD Football, SD Running, SD Training (fitness, cross training, gym equipment, weights, boxing, yoga), SD Rackets (badminton, tennis, squash), SD Swimming (pool, beach, water sports), SD Sports (basketball, rugby, extreme games, cycling, skates & indoor games), SD Lifestyle (Men, Women & Kids) & SD Outdoor (Hiking, trekking, camping & fishing).

Job Description
Your responsibilities as the Senior Executive, Social Media will include but not limited to:

• Strategic Planning - Store Opening, Tier Campaign, E-Com Promos, Daily Content Posts
• Content Analysis – Monitor and analyses content performance and engagement by platform.
• Content Planning– Brainstorm & build content ideas prior to the campaign start date.
• Market Analysis – Research & apply current trends.
• Calendar Templates – Keep up-to-date daily/weekly/monthly social media calendar.
• Posting For All Social Platforms - SDMY (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok) SDSG (Facebook, Instagram) USC (Facebook, Instagram) Upcoming plan: SD Indonesia (Facebook, Instagram), USC (Tik Tok) SDMY (X, You Tube, Xiao Hong Sue)
• Video Creation – Create videos during the photoshoots for IG Reel and Tik Tok content.
• EDM & Push app – Copywrite & structure E-mail marketing according to Retail Campaign & E-Com promos.
• Ads For Retail – Publish ads & monitor performance.
• Assets Management (brands, internal, global) – Follow up & Gather all Brand assets for product launch, new arrival.
• Graphic Designing – Design an informative, instructional post to increase engagement.
• Any other lawful assignment required by higher management from time to time.

Qualifications
Requirement:
Candidate must have the following requirement:

• Tertiary education in Marketing/ Social Media studies with minimum 5 years’ experience in the field
• Extensive knowledge of social media channels
• Possess web and computer proficiency, content creation, brand marketing and copywrite
• Strong interpersonal skills pair with effective communication skills in both writing and verbal
