Solution Architect

Job Description:
- Designing, modifying, and testing technical solution and architecture (client-side and server-side)
- Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and requirements for software
- Oversight and approval of all final programs and products before formal launch
- Oversee and support the coaching and training of team members to ensure all necessary employees are confident in the use of software applications
- Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
- Prepare an easy-to-understand report for supervisors detailing achieved milestones and short-term project goals
- Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually research best practices in coding
- Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information
- Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
- To perform any ad hoc matter or assignment from time to time
- Degree in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of experiences in the design and implementation of cloud solutions.
- In depth knowledge of server side languages (eg: object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework)
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, Java Script, XML, j Query)
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices (CI/CD) and prior experience working with Cloud (AWS)
- Experience as a Full Stack Developer is an added advantage.
- Experience in a customer-facing role such as a consultant, or solutions engineer/architect
- Ability to communicate effectively with end-users, business owners, and developers
- Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud infrastructure,
- Advanced knowledge of industry standard Dev Ops tools (e.g., CI/CD, Git, scripting, Gradle, Maven, Chef, git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles.
- Experience writing technical documentation for a technical audience.
- Strong commitment to customer service and service enablement.
- Proficiency in architecting and designing enterprise software systems and products.
- Experience in project estimation techniques, architecture, design patterns and performance engineering.
- Excellent leadership and negotiation skills with the ability to clearly propose and articulate architecture and technology decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
