A. Preparing surfaces: Powder Coat Sprayers are responsible for preparing surfaces for powder coating by cleaning and prepping them for the coating process.
B. Applying powder coating: They apply powder coating to surfaces using a spray gun, ensuring that the coating is evenly applied and that the thickness is consistent.
C. Maintaining equipment: They maintain powder coating equipment, ensuring that it is properly cleaned, calibrated, and functioning correctly.
D. Conducting quality control checks: They conduct quality control checks, such as checking the thickness and adhesion of the coating, to ensure that the finished product meets the required quality standards.
E. Troubleshooting issues: They troubleshoot issues that arise during the powder coating process, such as equipment malfunctions or quality issues, and work to resolve them.
F. Following safety procedures: They follow safety procedures to ensure that they and their colleagues are working in a safe environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
G. Recording production data: They record production data, such as the number of items coated and the amount of powder used, for reporting purposes.
