UMJ Engineering is currently looking for Supervisor with the following requirements. This is a contract on-site role as a Supervisor located in Johor Bharu, Malaysia.
Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Minimum of 2 years in Fire Protection Systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good working attitude; able to perform well under pressure.
• Capable of liaising with consultants and contractors to resolve site technical issues.

Job description

• Oversee and track the activities and progress of M&E subcontractors at the project site.
• Ensure M&E operations comply with construction drawings and work schedules; identify discrepancies among trades and initiate resolutions.
• Work closely with the project manager to identify and address any technical issues.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Support site teams in ensuring timely submission of progress claims as needed.
• Conduct or attend meetings as required to facilitate project communication.
• Provide guidance and necessary information to subordinates regarding M&E installation works.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and supervisors to ensure M&E works align with specifications and contract requirements.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management as needed
