As a Beauty Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience by providing expert advice on beauty products and services. Your passion for beauty and skincare, combined with your retail sales skills, will help customers find the perfect products to meet their needs. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment that encourages customer engagement and loyalty.
Duties
- Provide personalized beauty consultations to customers, helping them select products that suit their individual needs.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of merchandise, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Engage with customers through social media platforms to promote products and enhance brand visibility.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or scheduling appointments.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and product knowledge to effectively educate customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with inventory management tasks.
- Experience in social media management is beneficial for promoting products and engaging with customers online.
- A genuine passion for beauty products and an eagerness to learn about new trends and techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
