Carrier Relations Manager

Flō Networks is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the US and Mexico. We provide connectivity and managed services to Fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications, and cable companies over a fiber optic network that spans over 35,000 miles between both countries.

We have an immediate need for an experienced Carrier Relations Manager. This position will be based in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

The Role:
The Carrier Relations Manager role will be mainly centered on purchasing and negotiating services from multiple telecommunication carriers in the US and Latin America. The right candidate must have strong communication, analytical and listening skills, as well as excellent customer service, be a team player and interpersonal skills.

The Responsibilities:

Source connectivity services for our customers in the region.
Accurately quote pricing and serviceability options to sales executives, pre-sales engineers and project managers.
Accurately maintain records of circuits ordered and status of ongoing projects.
Provides information to internal departments in regards to circuits (i.e. circuit IDs, account numbers, etc.)
Maintains an outstanding working relationship with telecom vendors and carriers.
Assists Finance with billing disputes with vendors.
Assists in the processing of telecom invoices and reconciliation.
Responsible for the procurement of telecom services beyond customer premise locations.
Reconciles customer premise connection charges and contract recurring lines.
Assists management in resolving inquiries concerning charges to the budget.
Assists in maintaining telecommunication accounting records, documents and databases.
Creates and responds to written business correspondence with telecommunication vendors, carriers and regulatory agencies as required.
Assists the support departments when the services procured are in default of the agreed terms and conditions for performance, technical requirements, support and response times.
May perform other duties as assigned.

The Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or related.
+5 years’ experience procuring, managing or delivering telecommunications services.
Proficiency in spreadsheet applications is a must.
Special skills in project management, time management, organization, multi-tasking and detailed accounting analysis are needed for this position.
Excellent time management, use of planning and forward-thinking skills and decision making skills.
Must be detail oriented, very organized, self-motivated and maintain a professional attitude.
Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish.
