Position Summary:
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will play a vital role in our research team, working closely with and under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Research as well as assigned principal investigator(s) (PIs). The Clinical Research Coordinator supports, facilitates and coordinators daily study activities and is critical to the conduct of the study by working with the PI, sponsor, and/or institution to support and provide guidance on all aspects of the study (compliance, financial, personnel, etc.).

Position Summary:
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will play a vital role in our research team, working closely with and under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Research as well as assigned principal investigator(s) (PIs). The Clinical Research Coordinator supports, facilitates and coordinators daily study activities and is critical to the conduct of the study by working with the PI, sponsor, and/or institution to support and provide guidance on all aspects of the study (compliance, financial, personnel, etc.).
Job Duties & Essential Functions:
- Coordinate with PI and sponsors to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Assist in developing training materials and ensuring staff meet training requirements.
- Facilitate monitoring and auditing visits and respond to audit findings.
- Assist in feasibility assessments and budget justification.
- Review protocols, attend meetings, and prepare regulatory documents.
- Prepare study materials and organize study files.
- Communicate study requirements and provide training to staff.
- Coordinate initiation documents and recruitment strategies.
- Conduct informed consent process and screen participants for eligibility.
- Collect and input data, maintain study timelines, and manage study documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies regarding participant welfare.
- Collaborate on budget preparation and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Adhere to PHI regulations and ensure personnel complete required training.
- Promptly report any unanticipated problems and promote ethical conduct of research.
- Ensure proper safety procedures and training for handling hazardous materials.
- Travel to local sites.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of related experience
- Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Must be detail oriented and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Ophthalmology and/or research experience.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm
- Hybrid
$65,000 - $72,000
