Design Engineer 1- ROM Release

The successful candidate Engineer for ROM Release function will be responsible to compile data from engine performance calibration groups such as Emissions, OBD, Engine Dyno among others, data is used to develop optimized engine performance by creating ECM ROM for production vehicles at Mexico plants.
Responsibilities are not limited to those mentioned before others may include support manufacturing and design activities for all powertrain related matters including new technologies, quality improvement, and cost saving initiatives as well as teamwork with other engineering groups.
The Engineer will be focused to meet all internal/external performance target setting and at same time with compliance of current and upcoming regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for performing system development and diagnosis calibration work,
Education:
Bachelor's or Master degree in Mechanicals, Automotive or Electrical/Control, Chemistry Engineering - Completed degree.
Language:
English (Advanced)
Computer skills:
MS Excel Macros, Power Point, Office. Programming skills.
Competences:

Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for performing system development and diagnosis calibration work,
- Coordinating calibration changes provided from multiple teams.
- Merging of different calibrations sets for a combined calibration file.
- Carrying through the calibration sets through release plans and validations.
- Reporting writing or presenting project milestones and key issues to Project managers
- Perform analysis of data to draw conclusions and provide recommendations to various internal technical teams.
- Support technical staff in test environment, often operating engine and test cell equipment in real-time during calibration development and testing.
- Support manufacturing plants and actively participating at cross-functional team for solving powertrain-related matters.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master degree in Mechanicals, Automotive or Electrical/Control, Chemistry Engineering - Completed degree.
Language:
English (Advanced)
Computer skills:
MS Excel Macros, Power Point, Office. Programming skills.
