The Regional Operations Leader for Carrier AMER will be a regional leader for the Service Delivery organization responsible for supporting and enhancing factory technology in all Carrier factories across the Americas. The role will consistently interface with the teams in service delivery and other infrastructure towers to achieve consistent support across the region. This role reports to the Regional Service Delivery leader.

The Regional Operations Leader for Carrier AMER will be a regional leader for the Service Delivery organization responsible for supporting and enhancing factory technology in all Carrier factories across the Americas. This role reports to the Regional Service Delivery leader.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Factory IT Operations Regional Leader you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead a team of contracted digital professionals operating geographically spread across the regions located in each major factory to ensure an appropriate connection to the business users to promote effective understanding of the business needs.
- Define the requirements to promote an effective factory support experience from a digital infrastructure perspective for specific roles across PC needs, support model, and mobile requirements
- Key deliverables will include outlining the support solutions to meet the factory needs. Specifically, the role will require evaluating support solutions to meet a defined goal based on customer requirements.
- An active participant in Carrier wide projects to ensure a world-class performance and compliant factory infrastructure
- Running projects to enhance support models and maintain technology currency to promote a stable factory infrastructure experience
- Provide recommendations on sizing of equipment and other technology usage based on business needs and current usage. Manage projects associated with required upgrades based on analysis.
- Work in conjunction with the various infrastructure towers to assess the feasibility and cost of specific solutions to meet the factory needs.
- Validate the support model based on different locations and business needs to ensure appropriate support is available, when needed
- Understand the budget impact of support model changes and make decisions based on appropriate business value
- Engage additional vendors as needed to ensure appropriate support is provided for all business infrastructure needs
- Serve as an escalation point for factory support needs and urgent items
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
- 7 to 10 years of demonstrated success in leading complex IT Projects
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Solid digital infrastructure fundamentals
- Strong project management skills
- Lean /Six Sigma trained/certified
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive and high energy
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
- Strong interpersonal written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Champion the enterprise initiatives and business change
- Coordinate numerous activities simultaneously.
- Travel up to 25%
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Solid digital infrastructure fundamentals
- Strong end user support background
- Strong project management skills
- Background/experience in deploying technical solutions
- Excellent communication (written and Verbal) skills and strong interpersonal skills,
- A strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Active Directory, MS Office,
- A good understanding of security technologies.
