SMM is seeking a Health Information Specialist.
The Health Information Specialist is to request and obtain all medical records for all new patient consults. Communicate with patients in order to obtain all records for consult appointments.

SMM is seeking a Health Information Specialist.
The Health Information Specialist is to request and obtain all medical records for all new patient consults. Communicate with patients in order to obtain all records for consult appointments.
- Be comfortable using medical terminology and working in medical records
- Be able to work and communicate well with others
- Required to call/e-mail/fax medical professionals, attorney, and patients on a daily basis
- Knowledge of patient software systems, Word, and Excel
- Establish, maintain, and close patient charts. This may include but is not limited to following-up on missing documentation.
