Job Description, duties and responsibilities:
HMD Trucking Inc is looking for a highly-motivated truck dispatcher who wants to contribute to a successful team that embraces innovation and be part of an industry leading organization that is setting new standards consistently.
Your key responsibility is to execute the daily processes and activities involved in all aspects of a truckload shipment. This multi-faceted position has you accountable for managing a group of drivers and executing dispatch functions, along with ensuring customer service commitments are being met.
Must be able to communicate adequately in English. Must be able to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision after training period, be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Duties and responsibilities:
Plan, book & coordinate drivers on the best ways to maximize their earnings.
2. Maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.
3. Monitor freight delivery status to ensure all route updates occur in a timely manner.
Collaborate with dispatch team to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers.
Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers.
Communicate with freight brokers providing exceptional customer service.
7. Provide assistance and information to all customers about their cargo, location and arrival to destination, in regards pickups, transit, and deliveries of various cargo.
8. Work towards achieving the company’s long-term growth goals and help improve processes.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and skills required:
1. Multitasking, proactiveness, attention to details
2. Good geographical knowledge of the US
3. Excellent written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills,
4. Degree in Engineer / Administration / Finance is a big plus
7. Solid data entry skills with regard to speed and accuracy.
8. Intermediate MS Excel skills.
9. A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced office setting.
10. Organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Job Type:Full-time
Contract length: 1 month per month, for the first 3 months. There will be a performance review in order to extend it to 1 year.
Salary: $18,000.00 - $21,000.00 MXN per month
