Java Development and Support Engineer L3 (Remote)

YOUR ROLE
- You will be part of one division of Capgemini, contributing to the delivery of solutions for a top multinational investment bank and financial services project, using niche Java tech stack like Spring Boot, Microservices and Apache Kafka.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer, technologies, systems, or related Engineering.
-
3-6 years’ experience in Software Development with Java and the following technologies:
- Strong programming and analytical skills using Core Java.
- Kafka/Mongo DB/Microservices based architecture (Java/J2EE, Kafka, Java 8, RESTful API, Git).
- Working experience with Git/Git Hub/Gitlab.
- One of the following Scripting languages: Shell script, Perl, Java Script, or Python etc.
- Experience identifying patterns, analyzing root cause, and solving issues.
- Strong English communication (both written and spoken).
- Availability to support one weekend every month.
- Problem solving in a development or production environment, including experience observing patterns, analyzing root cause, and suggesting ideas to resolve issues.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn new technologies.
- Good communication skill.
- Team player and positive attitude with good commitment levels.
