General Job Description:
Under general supervision performs the following activities:
- Provides efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of packages and documents, while representing the company in a professional manner.
- Seeks additional business from current customers, attempts to gain new business (passes leads to sales department).
- Informs sales department of significant changes in customer use/competitor’s actions.
- Provides the necessary paperwork related to the collection and delivery of packages, such as air waybills, shipping records, vehicle (motorcycle) conditions, tax invoices with clarity and accuracy.
- Prepares documents for departure from station to route, COD, route settlement process and day-end closing.
- Ensures proper handling of Fed Ex Express equipment, as well as all customer property such as cash, packages, equipment and hazardous material.
- Ensures own personal safety at all times by following Safety policies and procedures.
- Operates the vehicle (motorcycle) safely and efficiently, complying with each country's regulations and corporate policies.
- Makes an effort for continuous improvement, productivity and compliance with KPIs through constructive suggestions of methods, procedures, processes and necessary requirements.
- Maintains a clean appearance of his uniform and the vehicle (motorcycle) assigned by the company and maintains neat and clean personal appearance to uphold company’s public image.
- May require other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma/Equivalent preferred
- Basic English skills preferred
Minimum Experience:
- Experience driving motorcycles of 150, 250 CC or higher with the ability to maneuver equipment weighing (100kg or more)
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in delivery or courier delivery preferably
- Must possess driver's license for a motorcycle type A1, A2, C or whatever the State requires, assigned in accordance with specific country regulations
- Good driving record
- Must be 21 years old or older
Minimum Required Skills:
- Ability to lift (68 kg) with appropriate equipment
- Good verbal and writing communication skills, human relations, and team player
- Must be able to successfully complete Reading, Map Reading, Sorting, and math sections of the Basic Skills Test
- Customer orientated with good organizational skills
- Problem Solving Skills
- Planning & Organizing Skills
- Team Working Skills
- Must be able to work variable shifts.
