Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead the sales initiatives across the country. This pivotal role involves driving revenue growth, enhancing sales performance, and fostering a high-performance culture within the sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, focusing on coaching and developing talent while implementing effective sales strategies tailored to the Mexican market.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership: Guide and support sales initiatives by identifying and implementing best practices across territories nationwide, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
  • Team Management: Oversee Mexico’s Sales Directors, Managers, and Trainers, collaborating to implement targeted strategies that meet sales and profitability goals. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct joint calls throughout Mexican territory, evaluating sales performance and providing coaching and feedback to enhance the effectiveness of sales staff. Use performance metrics to identify areas for development and growth.
  • Training & Development: Deliver hands-on, field-oriented training and mentorship to develop the overall capabilities of the Mexico sales team. Create tailored training programs that equip team members with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Communication & Presentation: Communicate and present company updates, strategic directives, and market insights to Branch and Corporate sales leaders. Ensure that all team members are informed and aligned with the company’s objectives and sales strategies.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making. Use insights to adapt sales strategies and drive growth in targeted markets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving business objectives and optimizing sales performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in sales and sales management, demonstrating strong coaching and leadership skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) with exceptional English written and verbal communication skills, allowing effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Extensive sales experience in B2B supplies, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in industrial, distribution, or business services sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth through innovative strategies and strong team performance.
