The VP of Engineering is responsible for setting the right culture, growing and managing the engineering team, and ensuring the team delivers quality releases while also giving the rest of the organization transparency into the engineering process. The main objective of this role is to collaborate with the Chief Product & Technology Officer and other stakeholders to translate product strategy and requirements into actionable goals for the engineering organization.

Requirements (Experience & Competencies)

At least 10 years of experience building highly scalable, high performance software solutions with at least 5 years of experience managing product-centrice teams of 50+ engineers
5+ years of in mobile, web, and cloud computing technologies
BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Well versed and experienced at applying Agile tools and methodologies to solve engineering problems
Experienced in and enthusiastic about identifying, developing, and motivating new engineering leaders
Highly collaborative leader with a demonstrated ability to motivate teams while partnering with a dynamic leadership team to ensure alignment and transparency
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; flexible and able to multitask while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
Fluency in English
