Today, we are looking for an IT Consumer & Commercial Manager to join our team in Morocco.
Working together within a diverse and a multinational team, you will contribute to the execution of the IT strategy and plans by leading all phases of projects in assigned portfolio handling business priorities based on project management methodology.
This role is based in Casablanca.

Philip Morris International: Delivering a Smoke-Free Future
Philip Morris International (PMI) is a leading international tobacco company, actively delivering a smoke-free future and evolving its portfolio for the long term to include products outside of the tobacco and nicotine sector. The company’s current product portfolio primarily consists of cigarettes and smoke-free products. Since 2008, PMI has invested over $12.5 billion to develop, scientifically substantiate and commercialize innovative smoke-free products for adults who would otherwise continue to smoke, with the goal of completely ending the sale of cigarettes. This includes the building of world-class scientific assessment capabilities, notably in the areas of pre-clinical systems toxicology, clinical and behavioral research, as well as post-market studies. In 2022, PMI acquired Swedish Match – a leader in oral nicotine delivery – creating a global smoke-free champion led by the companies’ IQOS and ZYN brands. Smoke-free business accounted for approximately 38% of PMI’s total first half 2024 net revenues. With a strong foundation and significant expertise in life sciences, PMI announced in February 2021 its ambition to expand into wellness and healthcare areas and, through its Vectura Fertin Pharma business, aims to enhance life through the delivery of seamless health experiences.

Today, we are looking for an IT Consumer & Commercial Manager to join our team in Morocco.
Working together within a diverse and a multinational team, you will contribute to the execution of the IT strategy and plans by leading all phases of projects in assigned portfolio handling business priorities based on project management methodology.
This role is based in Casablanca.
Your ‘day to day’:
- Understand business needs, define requirements, propose efficient solution, confirm financial proposal of the project and inspire change.
- Drive strong business alignment and collaborating with local/global digital departments ensuring IT B2C and B2B is considered in all relevant business initiatives/projects.
- Show eye for business e.g., by encouraging innovations with the help of visiting digital fairs, conferences, etc. and share/collaborate internally as well as with other PMI markets.
- Solve specific business problems by executing experiments, projects, etc. with innovative means applying project methodologies like Fast-Forward, Agile, SCRUM, Design thinking, etc.
- Co-lead major PMI projects in the commercial area with focus on digital/analytical systems and close collaboration with all business functions and 3rd parties in the B2C & B2B areas.
- Apply project management, change management, service management methodology and usability practices based on known solutions, applications and good practices assuring alignment to standards.
- Ensure measures are taken in projects to increase quality and mitigate risk, lead scope change and expectation, including risk analyses, impact assessment, needs assessment, financial analysis, test planning and execution, contingency and deployment plans.
- Ensure that all IT services are aligned with PMI P&Ps and ITPF (IT Policy Framework) controls.
- Lead the delivery of all project outcomes related to PM Maghreb strategy as an IT project manager for all components in scope including integration tasks and migration of data from legacy systems to new system landscape working closely with all technical product owner at PM Maghreb as well as local business, esp. digital stream and global functions and 3rd parties.
- Manage Vendor relationships and implement the vendor framework accordingly.
Who we’re looking for:
- Graduate in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience Information Technology (ideally in FMCG)
- Agile Certification (Agile PM, Scrum, etc.) is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing IT teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent project management and analytical abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Fluency in English & French (Spoken and Written).
