British Academy School Marrakech (BASM) seeks fully qualified, (QTS), and experienced Primary Teachers, (EYFS/KS1) to join our dynamic and rapidly growing school.
The School
The Role
We are looking for well qualified teachers with experience of teaching the England & Wales National Curriculum. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver the complete curriculum to students, specialist subjects (French, Arabic and PE ) are taught by specialist teachers. The ability to inspire students and create a stimulating learning environment is essential. You will have a positive mindset and will always do your very best for students, for parents and for colleagues.
Teachers at BASM have excellent subject knowledge and are expected to work collaboratively, to reflect on their own practice and to contribute to the ethos and vision of the school. In addition to key teaching responsibilities, staff have a pastoral role, giving them the opportunity to foster students’ holistic development and to play an integral part in the school community.
All teaching within the school is undertaken in English, therefore language competence will be assessed as part of the application process. All applicants must have a valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and at least 2 years teaching experience in a British school.
