Senior CMS (WordPress/Shopify) Developer

Job Summary:
As a Senior CMS Developer at Tingis Web, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of Word Press and Shopify-based websites. You will work closely with the Lead Developer and a team of designers and developers to design, implement, and optimize custom themes, plugins, and integrations. Your role will involve ensuring the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience, while also collaborating with an international team to deliver scalable, robust, and visually appealing web solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Word Press and Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, and Java Script.
- Modify and create PHP-based templates for custom themes.
- Effectively utilize CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and Java Script libraries (e.g., j Query).
- Design layouts using Elementor.
- Develop and tailor plugins to meet specific client needs.
- Leverage Word Press and Woo Commerce hooks and filters for customizations.
- Manage and optimize databases, particularly My SQL, to improve website performance.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard Word Press sites against common threats like XSS, CSRF, and SQL injection.
- Secure websites using security plugins and server configurations.
- Enhance website performance through caching, image optimization, and file minimization.
- Utilize performance testing tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Page Speed Insights) to ensure optimal site speed.
- Integrate third-party APIs and work with the Word Press REST API.
- Implement SEO best practices in website development and ongoing maintenance.
- Utilize SEO plugins and techniques to boost website visibility.
- Manage server configurations, including Cpanel, email accounts, and SSL certificates.
- Develop and customize Shopify themes and applications.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java Script, and PHP.
- Extensive experience in developing and customizing Word Press and Shopify themes and plugins.
- Strong expertise in My SQL database management.
- In-depth knowledge of web security best practices and their implementation.
- Proven experience with performance optimization techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with the Word Press REST API and integration of third-party APIs.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and their application in CMS platforms.
- Experience with server management, including Cpanel and SSL configuration.
- This role is based in the office of Tingis Web in Tangier, Morocco

Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- Software Development: 3 years (Required)
