Job Summary

The Global Technology EMEA PMO team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee technical projects and provide strategic business management.
This is an opportunity to be part of a team committed to DRIVE success and transformation.
The candidate will identify and execute ways to incorporate strategic guidance to the team.
Best practices, methodology, participation in project governance, and collaboration with other departments and stakeholders are expected.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of the enterprise-level/key strategic project management initiatives from Initiation through Closure.
Build out a schedule that addresses all key project areas (tasks, resources, dependencies, estimates) while challenging common assumptions to deliver quality on time, within budget, and within scope.
Able to identify when adjustments are needed to a project’s triple constraints (scope, cost, time) regardless of the PM methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) deployed.
Identify risk/risks mitigation plan(s) and capture issues/plan, drive all necessary follow-through to minimize risks, and remove blockers.
Leverage project documentation and lessons learned for future efforts.
Provide thought leadership and advance the project management profession while continuing to grow in the knowledge of project management methodologies and leading practices.
Develop and coach project team members so they understand what they are accountable for delivering and feel empowered to make the necessary decisions to deliver; provide adequate direction and support.
Engage business stakeholders to apply PM principles to achieve their objectives and business drivers.
Leverage organizational dynamics to influence outcomes through leadership and communication skills.
Engage appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements

Provide strategic guidance to the team, identifying opportunities to improve and innovate.
Apply project management best practices and methodologies, ensuring that the project team is following established standards.
Participate in project governance and oversight activities, including a persistent focus on RAIDD items, to ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that projects are integrated and aligned with overall business strategies
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer or Information Science
Highly proficient in both spoken and written English as well as German.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Supply Chain +
PMP Certification +
Scrum Master Certification +
10 years of experience, with a proven history of scheduling, managing, leading, and delivering projects from inception to close; demonstrated ability to identify and motivate resources, with the right skillset, to deliver the project scope.
