Account Executive

What the mahi will look like
As an Account Executive you will support the team in ensuring all compliance and documentation is set. You will support a portfolio of clients across New Zealand, covering all their insurance needs. Not only will you provide professional, accurate advice and support to your clients, stakeholders and underwriters, you will also be across new business growth.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing proposals for new business opportunities
- Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations
- Managing a book of Domestic and Personal Lines clients
Skills and experience that will lead to success
You will be a natural at building lasting, trusted relationships. Key to being successful in this role, is your experience in the insurance field, experience supporting accounts and you will have a strong aptitude to learn with the drive to get the best outcome for our clients.
A few key areas we are looking for:
- Experience in underwriting, claims or insurance account management
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- L5 General Insurance Certification (or on you way towards completing this)
- Desire to learn, and own a portfolio of clients, making things happen
