Bar & Restaurant Manager

JASRAJ ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED is a dynamic company known for delivering exceptional dining and entertainment experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Restaurant and Bar Manager for The Village Bar Patumahoeto, Auckland to lead our team, who will be responsible for the following duties:

Collaborate with the chef and management to plan and finalise the menu for the bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth implementation by the staff.
Oversee new and existing staff recruitment and supervision, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Work closely with management to develop and implement new promotions and discounts to attract and retain customers.
Greet and interact with customers, addressing their queries, managing reservations, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Provide customer recommendations on menu selections, offering expert advice on dishes and drinks.
Handle customer complaints professionally, maintaining strong relationships with customers and staff members.
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant and bar, upholding high hygiene standards at all times.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring that inventory levels are always sufficient and well-managed.
Oversee the financial aspects of the restaurant and bar, including managing cash flow, processing and analysing budgeting information.
Regularly inspect equipment and promptly report any maintenance or replacement needs to management.
Ensure all employees adhere to company policies, standards, and legal regulations, including health, safety, and liquor laws.
Manage the restaurant and bar's overall operations, including back-office functions, financial controls, and administrative tasks.
Set and monitor sales targets and manage pricing and labour costs to optimise profitability.
Make decisions on daily pricing, introduce combo deals, and manage special offers to enhance customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and health practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and all relevant licenses.

Work Hours and Benefits
- Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Paid between $29 to $33 per hour
Other requirements:

Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in hospitality
Available to work on weekends and evening shifts
A Duty Manager's Certificate is preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 – $33.00 per hour
Schedule:

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Shift work
Weekend availability
