We also have a Distribution Centre and own our own Frame and Truss Manufacturing Plant.

About the job
Competitive hourly rate and range of employee benefits; On-site role located in New Lynn; Permanent, part-time opportunity. One day a week roster - Sunday only.

About the role
Our Café is located within Mitre 10 MEGA New Lynn and is the perfect meeting spot for our local community to come together. Over and above your Barista duties, your typical front of house, day-to-day would look like this: monitor Barista/Counter requirements for cups, plates, saucers, cutlery to ensure service times are maintained; prepare and present counter food and beverages; Respond to customer requests and process orders; Maintain a high level of food and general hygiene practice; Support kitchen team as and when required.

What will you bring?

Previous Barista skills essential (hourly rate will be commensurate to experience and skill level)
Experienced working in a fast-paced café environment, working well under pressure
Have a passion for and be knowledgeable about both food offerings and beverages.
Have a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
Clear, strong communication skills operating in a small team
Have some ability to work during peak periods including weekends and public holidays.
