Car yard and storage manager

No of working hours: Minimum 30 hours a week
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling Fresh-Import cars arrived from Japan, Australia and Singapore and any other part of the world.
- Providing insights and recommendations to improve company business operation.
- Following safety protocols when working within the car yard and storage.
- ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in the company
- ensuring work complies with relevant government legislation, policies and procedures
- Dealing with all shipping lines. Autohub, Moana blue and Jacanna.
- Receiving cars from Logistics companies in New Zealand e.g Autologistics and PTL
- Preparing cars to send to local New Zealand compliance centers e.g VTNZ/AA/Autochecks
- Dealing with entry Certifiers, repair certifiers and NZTA
- Placing orders for car parts during compliance procedure.
- Placing orders for chassis related car parts during repair certification procedure with provision of knowledge and expertise.
- Discuss cars condition and procedures with repair certifier and confirming work to
- be carried out accordingly
- Ensuring vehicles are stored and handled with care in car warehouse storage.
- Work along with other staff members to ensure the efficient operations of the business
- Allocate work duties to the other staff members if and when required
- Assist the director in hiring if and when required.
- Relevant tertiary Level qualification ( from level 5 to 7) is preferable (overseas equivalent qualification is also acceptable) OR in case of no qualification six months to one year of experience is desirable in a similar or related role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Great problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Passions of cars & their parts is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to resolve operational issues outside of business hours.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

- Morning shift
