• Manage nursing staff and health navigators, workflow and workloads across the clinical area by ensuring appropriate staff skill mix, nursing process and risk mitigation.
• Clinical leadership to establish and maintain a high standard of patient centre and whānau centred care and coordination.
• Monitor oversight of patients with high clinical risk and patient care coordination, clinical governance, patient safety.
• Role model expert clinical practices in the care and management of patients. Mentor and coach staff.
• Role model expert clinical practices in the care and management of patients. Mentor and coach staff.

• Senior Registered Nurse with proven leadership skills and experience
• Current practicing certificate
• Proven ability to successfully lead and deliver projects in a large and complex environment
• Facilitation skills, including strong listening and coaching skills

• Knowledge and understanding of kaupapa Māori models of care
• Service review/Process mapping and redesign
• Change management
• Process mapping
• Workshop facilitation
• Communications planning and delivery
• Experience in the health sector
• Experience in a kaupapa Māori service or provider
• Clinical background
• Māori development background
• Proficiency in Te reo Māori me ōna tikanga
