Te whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a senior nursing position available! Hone your staff management and leadership skills with this great team. Bring your expertise, your knowledge and your skills to make a difference around the way we approach our mahi to better meet patients, whānau and stakeholder needs. You need to be a master skilled in relationship building and liaising with a multi-disciplinary group.
In this role you will take responsibility for the overall coordination of patient flow within Paediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery based primarily at Starship Children’s Hospital with some patients in Level 4 ORs. you will be coordinating the nursing staff on a daily basis and resources to care for the patients that day. This role forms part of the senior nursing team in Level 4 Cardiothoracic and ORL Operating Theatres.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with 5 years or above of Adult or Paediatrics Cardiac Theatre experience
  • Possess solid clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
  • Excel at building and leading high-performing teams
  • Provide clinical leadership and continuing professional development for RNs in the department.
