We're seeking a motivated individual to join our Kapiti-based team as a Class 2 Truck Delivery Driver. This full-time role operates from Monday to Sunday, with 1 or 2 days off depending on workload. The job entails loading, unloading, driving, and delivering within the Wellington and Kapiti area.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week, with
guaranteed work hours totaling 30. Hours may be longer during periods of high workload.
Working hours from between 9.00 am to 8.30pm (Monday to Sunday).
Salary: Between $26-$32 per hour(Depend on experience)
Requirements:
 Clean Class 2 driver’s license with minimum 1 years of truck driving experience
 Ability to drive both manual and automatic trucks
 Good communication skills
 Attention to detail
 Positive attitude, willingness to learn, physically fit
 Professional approach and ability to work under pressure
 Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy item, packages and
objects, as well as be able to load and unload them from their vehicle
Other Requirements:

• Clean driving license
• Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.
• Successful applicants must agree to undergo drug testing

Job responsibilities include:
 Loading merchandise from the Grenada North Countdown (Woolworth) Online Store
and transporting it to various destinations in the Wellington and Kapiti area.
 Returning with empty crates and unloading them at the designated area in
Countdown (Woolworth).
 Maintaining accurate transportation and vehicle fuel consumption logs, as well as
other required data.
 Assisting in the movement and organization of materials and fulfilling various
additional job-related tasks as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
 If necessary and asked by the employer, arranging for the vehicle to undergo
WOF/COF inspections.
 Providing updates on Road User Charges, Registration, and necessary maintenance.
 Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle.
 Performing minor maintenance duties, including taking the vehicle to an approved
mechanic or garage if needed.
Qualifications
 Full Class 2 Drivers License
 At least one years of truck driving experience
Skills & competencies:
 Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find
delivery locations
 Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on
schedule
