We are currently looking for Cleaning Area Supervisor to help and support our team based in Waikato, Hamilton.

Contract will be for an 8-week period.
Monday-Friday, however, must be prepared to work some weekends.
About you:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Have a valid New Zealand Work Visa, Resident Visa, or Citizenship.
• Have a Valid Driver’s License
• Pass a Ministry of Justice (Criminal Conviction History) check!
• Physically fit to do the job.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Good attention to detail.
• A reliable work ethic with great customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following training and instructions.

About the role:

• Supervise and lead a team of cleaners during the afternoon shift, ensuring adherence to cleaning schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate and assign cleaning tasks to team members, distributing workload appropriately.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor the cleanliness of the shopping mall, addressing any deficiencies or areas needing improvement.
• Train and onboard new cleaning staff, providing guidance on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with mall management and other departments to address specific cleaning needs and maintain effective communication channels.
• Maintain inventory and order necessary cleaning supplies and equipment, always ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, seeking resolutions and maintaining positive relationships.
