Step into a pivotal leadership role in Infection Prevention and Control, where your expertise will shape patient safety across our district. This role offers a unique platform to drive infection control strategies, manage complex outbreak scenarios, and oversee surveillance initiatives essential to reducing hospital-associated infections.
Collaborating with clinical teams across specialties, this position is central to elevating patient outcomes through rigorous standards, innovative protocols, and proactive risk management. We are offering the successful candidate a permanent part-time position 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) working across the Bay of Plenty region.
He korero mōu - About You
The ideal candidate brings diverse nursing experience, including a solid background in Infection Prevention and Control. A strong clinical focus, along with a passion for data-driven, evidence-based practice, is essential. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across a range of professional disciplines. Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate qualification or a commitment to pursue postgraduate study relevant to Infection Prevention and Control.
