Your purpose.
You’re an experienced Ad Operations Specialist, proven in your craft by working with large clients in from another an advertising agency or media supplier background. You oddly love the hustle of a busy, fast paced environment, which is great because you’ll be working across a group of clients and teams across varying industries, so being able to prioritise and juggle different goals and challenges is a valued skill you thrive at.
As the Ad Ops Manager, you and the team are tasked to deliver best in class digital operations across digital planning, tracking, campaign management and reporting. You enjoy collaborating across teams, especially with data, analytics and technology teams, to ensure that we have best in class data capture, organisation and activation products available to us. You’ll also be supporting aspiring Ad Ops professionals to share ideas, help review solutions, provide recommendations and general mentorship to team members to help them grow their understanding of the digital media and advertising industry in Aotearoa.
What the day to day might look like.
  • Operation of campaign management and brand safety platforms such as CM360 and IAS.
  • Development, implementation, adoption, and consistency delivery of processes and operations for optimised ad performance.
  • Delivering objectives of the Ad Operations team, including performance, data quality, publisher communication, error rates, specification adherence, campaign reporting and revenue.
  • Implementing data tagging structures in line with tracking plans and data collection strategies.
  • Data collection and tagging responsibility, making sure tags set up and tracking across all clients to ensure robust data collection and quality.
  • Working with Group Digital Director on the development of products and services, including helping to deliver product roadmaps, activation of new tools, technologies and capabilities, and expand offline products into a digital environment.
  • Building knowledge and understanding across other implementation areas such as search and programmatic media buying.
  • Continual review and improvement of processes to create best practice and approaches to optimisation and digital campaign management.
About you.
  • 3+ years of experience in either ad operations or digital media industry.
  • Experience managing several stakeholder relationships and priorities across suppliers, internal teams, stakeholders and clients.
  • Knowledge of analytical methodologies and tactics to optimise data driven marketing campaigns (i.e., segmentation, predictive response models, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on large data sets
  • In depth working knowledge of the Google Technology stack, particularly Google Ad Manager and Google Tag Manager
  • A natural multitasker to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and able to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly
  • Strong listening, negotiation, presentation, verbal and written communication skills, ideally comfortable in a consultative, client-facing environment
