In this permanent part time role at Vickery Court (, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our residents enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You'll need to be physically fit, the roles involve some lifting and demand a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced setting.
Vickery Court is a beautiful and well-maintained rest home and hospital providing short and long term accommodation, respite and caregiver support and compassionate palliative care for our 88 residents. We are privileged to have a devoted team of 100 professionals who diligently strive to create an atmosphere where our residents and their whanau feel genuinely welcomed and at home.
You'll have the chance to forge meaningful connections, engaging with residents in a respectful, patient, and empathetic manner whilst providing quality domestic and housekeeping services in a manner that reflects and respects the "home" environment for all of our residents.
We provide support for our residents 24 hours a day 7 days a week - this position includes weekend work, six (6) hours per week, Sundays 8 am to 2.30 pm (with the opportunity to pick up additional hours).

Previous cleaning experience
Excellent attention to detail

Strong reading and writing skills
