Job Description

- Full-time, Permanent contract with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed per we ek and may be required to participate in a standby roster
- Monday – Friday and may be required to participate in a standby roster
We are currently seeking to employ a Field Supervisor to our Distribution Central team based in Palmerston North. In this role, you will To co-ordinate distribution network employees, deliver the required customer service level agreement outcomes and ensure work is completed safely, on time and to an appropriate quality standard.

- Planning of work for staff and leading staff in the field on a daily basis.
- Utilising of subcontractors.
- Identifying long-term work for budget consideration.
- Ensuring that both Omexom and the customer comply with the contract agreement.
- Ensuring job packs are submitted for invoicing.
- Maintaining excellent productivity and employment relations.
- Achieving industry codes of practice and ensuring they are complied with.
- Achieving safe working methods and the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act and ensuring these are communicated to all staff.
Qualifications and Skills
- Knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
- Basic computer experience.
- Able to write brief reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with staff and customers – at all levels.
- Knowledge of and ability to emphasise safety, quality and the environment in the workplace.
- NZ certificate in electricity supply L4 required.
- Current practising license required.
- Willing to travel when required.
