0.94FTE (37.6 hours a week), Permanent role
Rotating Roster, 4 days on and 2 days off. Monday to Sunday across Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts.

The Psychiatric Service for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities (PSAID) Inpatient Unit, specialist mental health service based at Hillmorton Hospital provides assessment and treatment options tailored to the needs of intellectually disabled people. A dedicated multidisciplinary team of health professionals work together to craft packages of care that enable consumers to learn new skills and ways of managing their illness, so that they can return home, be part of their community and lead a good life.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be involved in supporting consumers with their ADL - s as well supporting them with their daily routines. You may be required to help facilitate activities for our consumers, this could also be an activity off the ward/ off-site. You will be well supported by the nursing team.
Salary starting from $60,100 to $70,358 per annum. Based on the NZNO Nursing and Midwifery collective agreement

Current full drivers licence
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills Good time management skills and a willingness to learn.
Punctuality and reliability
Ability to work well under pressure
Kind and caring
Ideally experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar
Ideally experience in Intellectual Disabilities, however not essential.
