0.8FTE (32 hours a week) permanent position.
24/7 rotating roster. Morning, Afternoon and Nights - Monday to Sunday.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Australasia as a Healthcare Assistant.
Based in the Waipapa building, our department is divided into functional areas and sees an average of 130,000 presentations per year.
We are looking for an engaging and friendly Healthcare Assistant to join our nursing team. As a Healthcare Assistant you will be providing support and care to patients and whanau arriving and being treated in all areas of the Emergency Department.
You will be responsible for carrying out daily tasks within your shift and working in collaboration with colleagues. You will be supported by the nursing team with ongoing educational opportunities specific to your role.
You must be available for all shifts (Morning, Afternoon and Nights) Monday to Sunday.
Salary starting from $60,100 to $70,358 pro rata. Based on the NZNO Nursing and Midwifery collective agreement.

You will enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to work well under pressure.
