Remedies Limited is looking for 2 Massage/Spa Therapists in the therapying massage field to perform routine tasks to the quality standards.
Working location: Paraparaumu, Wellington Region
Type: Full-time
Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Payment: $29.66 to $32.00 per hour
What you’ll need to be a successful applicant:

• 3-year work experience in massage/spa or relevant field, or a level 4 or above relevant qualification.
• Good at Natural Remedy.
• Ability to work unsupervised and use your initiative.
• Be focused on growing your clientele.
• Be reliable and determined to learn.
• Good customer service behavior and experience.
• Sound time management skills.
• Physically fit the job and can perform good massage techniques on clients.

Job responsibilities:

• Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing.
• Utilizing a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury.
• Administering treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension.
• Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice.
• Applying other techniques, such as acupressure or shiatsu, and complementary aids, such as wet compresses, ice, essential oils and herbal therapies, to assist recovery.
• Assessing client's physical condition and case history and advising on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
• Making sure the working area is clean, and equipment is sterilized to meet hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Keeping track of stock level.
