Te Whānau o Waipareira is on the lookout for skilled kaimahi to strengthen our integrated services for whānau. This is a fixed-term fulltime opportunity where you will deliver wrap-around support in the mental health and wellbeing space.As a Mental Health & Wellbeing Support Worker, you will connect with whānau to identify their unique wellbeing needs and craft customized recovery plans from a strengths-based, kaupapa Māori perspective. You will operate as a mobile clinician, working across a variety of key programmes throughout the community. Your mahi will support the hopes and dreams of the whānau, constructing a comprehensive network of care that covers all angles.

Skills & Experience
- A commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori.
- Ability to speak Te Reo Māori fluently is preferred.
- Preferred Level 4 Mental Health & Wellbeing Certificate or Tertiary qualification in a relevant health discipline.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated facilitation, planning and coordination experience.
