The purpose of this role

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Virtualisation Specialist is a creative, accomplished, and experienced solutions seller with a proven track record of excellence in Solution Sales for a Desktop Virtualisation organisation or with experience in leading migrations from legacy on-premise solutions to Saa S solutions. They are obsessed with understanding our customers’ requirements, creative at imagining solutions to address the needs and articulate in their ability to communicate these solutions.


The Virtualisation Specialist is at the forefront of the sales process for cutting-edge virtualisation solutions that leverage the power of Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. The role is pivotal in enabling a secure, compliant, and efficient Cloud PC experience for customers, ensuring they can enable their end users to access their personalised Windows environment on any device. With a focus on Cloud PC management through Intune, you will streamline deployment and maintenance, while staying abreast of the latest virtualisation technologies. Your expertise will foster seamless collaboration and productivity, as you work across various internal and external groups to support customers in their end user computing transition. This role is designed for those who thrive in a flexible work environment, allowing you to work remotely and drive transformational outcomes for customers in the virtualisation space.



Responsibilities
  • Thrive in an ever-changing environment, adapting quickly to new solutions and embracing change with a growth mindset.
  • Drive complex deals and influence new opportunities by engaging with key decision makers, understanding customer priorities, having deep compete insight and articulating the value proposition of Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Drive solution sales best practices, crafting strategies that differentiate and challenge customers with creative solutions.
  • Partner with various stakeholders to guide customers in transforming their Desktop Strategy and end-user experience.
  • Accelerate opportunities with creative strategies and storytelling that address customer challenges, leveraging core team stakeholders and Partners.
  • Lead the planning and execution of Virtualisation opportunities, collaborating with internal stakeholders and partners for cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Lead conversations with business and IT decision makers, sharing best practices and competitor knowledge as a subject matter expert.
  • Deliver excellence in territory planning, compete plans, business analysis, and forecasting.
  • Deliver results while embodying Microsoft values, treating others with fairness and respect.
  • Support team members in exceeding their potential, actively contributing to the team culture, fostering positivity, and sharing knowledge.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need to share our value for our mission, culture, ethical sales, solving complex challenges and building sustainable partnerships with clients. You will also need to have experience:
  • 6+ Years proven track record of excellence in Solutions Sales for a Desktop Virtualisation or Saa S-based company or similar technology.
  • This position requires verification of NZ Citizenship due to citizenship based legal restrictions.
