Mower Operator - Sports Fields

What You’ll Do:
As a Sports Field Mower Operator, you'll be responsible for the scheduled mowing of various sports parks across West and North Auckland. Your role includes:
- Regularly mowing and maintaining sports fields to ensure optimal grass and turf care for high-quality playing surfaces.
- Performing weed eating and edging to keep all areas looking pristine.
- Conducting basic routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains in excellent working condition.
- Ensuring fields meet the highest standards of presentation and client specifications.
We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for maintaining sports fields. Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience with small plant and ride-on mowers preferred
- A full, current driver’s license with manual capability essential (class 2 is a plus)
- Enjoyment of outdoor work and pride in a job well done
- Physical fitness for the demands of sports field maintenance
- Basic computer skills for equipment and reporting tasks
- Commitment to Health and Safety policies
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
