National Planning Lead

Join us in our newly created role as National Planning Lead, reporting to the Executive General Manager, Hawkins.
About the role
Supporting the Hawkins North and South, the National Planning Lead is responsible for developing and reviewing tender programmes, whilst supporting active projects to deliver timely, consistent, accurate and up to date professional project plans and programmes. They will also logically analyse critical paths and review actual progress versus planned, reporting any areas concern, in line with contractual obligations.
This role is fundamental to projects and Hawkins, ensure the delivery of High Performance and objectives including risk management, on time performance, and value for money.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A high degree of personal integrity and work ethic.
- Strong technical capability and credibility.
- A strong contracting background and exposure working on commercial projects, including large-scale works.
- Expert level experience in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. As a key member of the team, you must be able to communicate clearly and interact well with the project team, subcontractors and the client, building strong relationships.
- A relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
