Fendalton New World is a vibrant and community-focused supermarket committed to providing exceptional service and high-quality products to our customers. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Admin and Food Safety Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration:
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Coordinate and assist with staff scheduling, payroll, and other HR-related tasks.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the management team with any ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of food handling, storage, and preparation areas.
- Maintain accurate records of food safety checks, training, and incidents.
- Provide training and support to staff on food safety practices and procedures.
- Work closely with the management team to identify and mitigate any food safety risks.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
