Your Role

Your Responsibilities

• Export & Import operations across various trade lanes
• Customer service excellence – one on one interaction with clients
• Arrange bookings directly with transport companies, and liaise with carriers and suppliers
• Ensuring that all documentation is completed as per company processes, customer & regulatory requirements and in a timely manner
• Liaising with various external parties – shipping lines, NZ customs and overseas offices/agents

Your Skills and Experiences

• Previous experience and understanding of International Shipping and Freight processes
• Ability to effectively manage your time, especially when under pressure and with a busy workload
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to think outside the square and solve problems
• A sense of initiative and drive to follow tasks through to completion
• Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders
• Prior direct responsibility for delivering exceptional customer experience
• Previous experience in a customer facing role highly advantageous
