In this fast-paced position, you will provide hands-on leadership and management for a diverse Orthopaedics service, with a focus on both service delivery and contributing to the divisional management team. Based in a surgical environment, this role offers a unique mix of acute and elective services, providing opportunities to develop and broaden your experience.
A key aspect of the role involves establishing and nurturing collaborative relationships with a diverse range of medical professionals across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage service activities to consistently deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
- Support managers in delivering unit and ward plans.
- Develop business cases and apply analytical approaches to budget objectives.
- Oversee financial performance for directly managed services.
- Ensure achievement of performance targets and indicators.
