We are seeking an Operations Specialist to deliver world class operations management to our customers as part of the Kotahi Operations Team.
This is a full time, fixed-term role to the end of August 2025.

In this role you will:
- Manage the overall operational outcomes for our produce portfolio supporting our customers end to end delivery of goods into market.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of booking requests, equipment and transport, proactively identifying potential issues, resolving efficiently, and communicating to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and manage operational relationships with customers, carriers, transport providers and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction of equipment supply & bookings.
- Review customer requested order constraints, setting as appropriate and aligned to solution.
- Assign all orders within customer SLAs and at the lowest cost to the orderbook, accounting for strategic commitments and supply chain realities.
- Complete customer-initiated changes
- Manage every customer order against key event milestones and planned dates, take necessary action to keep the delivery/order on plan. Actively work to reduce customer requested order constraints, working closely with Account Managers to adjust solutions and increase no-touch order processing.

You'll bring the following skills and experience:
- Good ability to build genuine relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on leveraging these to achieve improved outcomes for all parties.
- Communicates with influence, tailoring messages to suit the audience, and uses a range of influencing techniques to build support. Addresses issues clearly and credibly and handles challenging questions confidently and constructively.
- Strong time management, administration and organisational skills.
- Systems savvy and able to analyse and solve data discrepancies between different sources
- A self-starter who will use their initiative with a problem-solving focus.
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement with a focus on improving customer outcomes.
- Excellent data analysis skills, with a focus on identifying & articulating trends to various audiences.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage and prioritise conflicting tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and shipment planning and execution. Knowledge of container equipment, sea freight or equipment management processes preferred but not essential.
