Ravensdown is a farmer owned co-operative within the agricultural sector. We exist to help our farmers optimise soil fertility and productivity to run their businesses in a profitable and sustainable way with a focus on lowering environmental impact. Beyond fertiliser, we provide nutrient management services, technical advice and essential farm inputs delivered how, where and when they are needed by our customers.
About the Role
Dipton Lime is looking for a Full Time Quarry Operator and join our crew at the Dipton Lime Quarry. You will be trained to look after and operate heavy mobile machinery such as Diggers, Loaders, Dozers, Drill and Dump Truck. We will also supply training on our fixed plant and the use of explosives.
The hands-on role requires you to be responsible ensuring that all aspects of our Fixed Plant or Mobile Plant are maintained to a high level through excellent housekeeping, repairs, and maintenance.
We are a busy quarry so there may be periods of shift work involved throughout the year but this provides opportunity to for overtime.
About You
For the right person with a positive attitude, we're happy to invest the time and training to get you up to speed to use our plant equipment safely and effectively. You will need to be comfortable with technology and embrace the automation technology onsite.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Initiative and willingness to get stuck in and learn
- A commitment to following all health and safety requirements
- Reasonable physical fitness and able to lift heavy objects
- Tech Savvy
- Experience operating front-end loaders or similar
- An affiliation with the agriculture industry
- Mechanical skills and knowledge of basic repair work
- A valid NZ Full driver's license
